Most termite calls we get from Indirapuram start the same way: a wardrobe door that sounds hollow, a thin mud line running up the skirting, or a heap of wings on the balcony after the first monsoon shower. By then the colony has usually been working for months. Our post-construction anti-termite treatment cuts the colony off from the soil and the walls it travels through, so the wood in your home stops being food.
What is termite control and why it matters in Indirapuram
The termites that damage homes in Ghaziabad are subterranean termites. They live in the soil under and around a building and reach woodwork through hairline cracks in floors, expansion joints, conduit pipes and the gap behind skirting tiles. Because they avoid light and dry air, they build mud tubes to travel and eat wood from the inside out. In a multi-storey society the colony can climb through electrical shafts and plumbing ducts, which is why we regularly find active termites on the 8th or 12th floor of towers in Indirapuram, not just on the ground floor.
Signs you need termite control
- Pencil-thin mud tubes on walls, skirting, door frames or behind kitchen cabinets
- Wooden doors, frames or plywood that sound hollow when tapped
- Discarded wings near windows and tube lights after rain (swarmers)
- Paint bubbling or peeling in straight lines on a wall
- Fine soil-like debris inside drawers, on books or behind photo frames
- Modular kitchen shutters that swell or crumble at the bottom edge
The damage if it is left untreated
Termites do not stop at furniture. In flats we have seen them eat through particle-board wardrobes, wooden flooring, books, school certificates and even cash kept in a steel almirah — the photo in our gallery of damaged currency notes is from a real job. Repairing a modular kitchen or a full wardrobe set usually costs many times more than a treatment, and builder warranties rarely cover termite damage.
How we do it: Termite Control, step by step
- Inspection & mappingWe trace mud tubes, tap-test the woodwork and mark every entry point: floor-wall joints, door frames, kitchen and bathroom plumbing cut-outs and electrical boards.
- DrillingHoles of about 6–8 mm are drilled at the floor-wall junction, roughly every 12–18 inches (30–45 cm), and at the base of door frames. Holes go below the tile into the masonry.
- Chemical injectionA diluted termiticide is injected under pressure into each hole so it spreads along the joint and forms a continuous treated zone the termites cannot cross.
- Woodwork treatmentInfested frames, cabinets and furniture are sprayed or injected directly; heavily damaged pieces are pointed out to you for repair or replacement.
- SealingEvery hole is sealed with white cement or matching filler so the floor looks finished. We clean up the drilling dust before leaving.
- Follow-upA re-check is scheduled as per your service card. If live termites appear in the warranty period, the affected spot is retreated free of cost.
How to prepare before our visit
- Clear 2 feet along the walls of each room so we can reach the skirting
- Empty the bottom shelves of wardrobes and kitchen cabinets that show mud tubes
- Tell us where concealed water pipes and wiring run before drilling
- Keep children and pets in a room we are not working in
Chemicals, safety and re-entry time
We use CIB&RC-registered termiticides such as imidacloprid and bifenthrin formulations, diluted exactly as the label states. These are odourless or low-odour water-based products. Food, utensils and children's toys should be put away in closed cabinets during the work, and we ask families to keep children and pets out of the room being drilled. Normal use of the house can resume once the holes are sealed, usually the same day.
All products are used by technicians working under Govt. Licence No. 1488-GZB, following the label instructions for dose and ventilation.
Common DIY mistakes we see in Indirapuram
- Breaking mud tubes or spraying kerosene on them — the colony simply reroutes
- Replacing damaged wood without treating the wall first
- Using a single surface spray and assuming the problem is solved
When termite control is needed most
Termite swarms in Indirapuram usually show up twice a year — around March–April on warm evenings and again with the first monsoon rains. Damage, though, continues all year inside walls, so treatment can be done in any season.
For homes and for businesses
Residential
For a 2 or 3 BHK flat the job takes 4–7 hours, depending on how many door frames and how much built-in woodwork there is. We work room by room so you are never shut out of the whole flat.
Commercial
Offices, schools, hotels and factories get a site survey, a written treatment plan and a service report after each visit — useful for audits. Large jobs can be done on Sundays or after working hours.

Termite Control — frequently asked questions
For an active infestation, yes. Spraying the surface only kills the termites you can see; the colony keeps coming through the floor-wall joint. Drilling lets the chemical reach where termites actually travel. The holes are small and sealed the same day.
A properly done drill-fill-seal treatment protects for several years. The exact warranty period for your job is written on your service card, and spot re-treatment inside that period is free.
No. We treat one room at a time. Keep children and pets away from the room being drilled and air it out for about an hour afterwards.
In tall society towers termites climb through electrical and plumbing shafts and the gaps around them. That is why we also treat the shaft openings and switch-board cut-outs, not only the floor.
It depends on carpet area, woodwork and infestation level. See the price guide on our home page for approximate ranges, then book a free inspection for an exact written quote.
Yes — that is the best time. With empty walls we can treat every joint cleanly. Book us after flooring is complete and before carpenters start.
